Steve Binkowski attended Michigan State University where he studied multi-disciplinary engineering and supply chain management, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. After graduation, Steve began working for The Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. During his 12 years at Ford, Steve held various positions in the purchasing department including program manager, buyer, and purchasing manager.

In 2000, Mr. Binkowski left Ford and worked at Magna Mirrors and Toyota Boshoku America and Macy’s, Inc., serving in progressively expanded roles within the purchasing and supply chain organizations within these corporations.

Currently at Macy’s, which he joined in 2013, Mr. Binkowski is the group vice president of Non-Merchandise Purchasing and Travel Services. In this role he oversees procurement of non-merchandise goods and services in support of the over 850 Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s department stores, distribution centers and administrative offices. In addition, he manages the internal Macy’s Travel Agency supporting the 175,000 plus team member travel needs.
