Adrienne Trimble was General Manager, Diversity & Inclusion at Toyota Motor North America. She was responsible for leading and executing diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives across Toyota’s North American operations. In 2015, Trimble relocated to the Dallas Metroplex area in support of Toyota’s headquarter consolidation in Plano, Texas.

From 2005-12, Trimble was Supplier Diversity Manager for Toyota’s Manufacturing Division, where she directed the company’s processes for developing productive supplier relationships with diverse businesses across the country. Toyota received numerous accolades under Ms. Trimble’s direction, including Corporation of the Year by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) as well as Corporation of the Year honors from the organization’s affiliates in Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio, Southwest Texas, and the Tri-State Council, which covered Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.

Her board and committee leadership have included NMSDC and several of its regional Councils. She was named as one of the 45 Most Influential Leaders of all time by the National Minority Supplier Development Council. In recognition of her efforts to advance economic development for diverse suppliers, Rev. Jesse Jackson presented Trimble with the Corporate Leader Award and Women in Leadership Award. The Ohio Diversity Council recognized Trimble for her outstanding leadership in Corporate Diversity. She is a recognized inclusion thought leader sharing success strategies as a speaker for Fortune Magazine: Next Gen Conference, DiversityInc, Diversity Best Practices and The Multi-Cultural Women’s Conference.

Trimble’s first position at Toyota was with the Manufacturing Division’s Human Resources department in 2000, where her responsibilities included development of the company’s recruitment strategy and organization design, succession planning and labor cost management efforts. Prior to Toyota, she held leadership positions in human resources management in financial services, healthcare and consumer goods related companies.

Trimble is a graduate of Wilberforce University and was appointed to the Board of Trustees of her alma mater in 2014.

Trimble and her husband, Jamiel, reside in McKinney, Texas.
