Tyrone C. Taylor is the founder and president of Capitol Advisors on Technology, LLD located in Washington, D.C. He also serves as a representative for the Federal Laboratory Consortium, a congressionally chartered organization, representing the nation’s defense and non-defense laboratories in the area of technology transfer.

Mr. Taylor is a former member of the Senior Executive Service at NASA where he worked on a variety of programs including Space Science and Space Station, serving as the agency’s lead on technology transfer issues. Mr. Taylor’s extensive experience includes managing over $1 billion in contracts and grants for systems engineering, information systems, facilities management and technical/administrative services as a member of the International Space Station program, which included Japan, Canada and the European Space Agency.

While working in the private sector, Mr. Taylor provided technology and management support to a variety of federal agencies along with private-sector firms on a broad spectrum of technology issues including homeland security, innovation management, and the commercialization of space.

Mr. Taylor has a Masters in Business Administration from Southeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Wilmington College.
