Ying McGuire is a Vice President at Technology Integration Group (TIG), a premier IT products, solutions and services provider based in San Diego, California with 25 offices in US, Canada, China, and a global partner network in 5 continents.

In this role, she oversees TIG’s international operations and expansion of global business, as well as leads TIG’s corporate business development with Fortune 500 companies and diversity initiative.

Prior to TIG, Ying was the Global Supplier Diversity leader at Dell Inc. She was responsible for driving three billion dollar annual procurement spend with small, minority, and woman owned businesses and she was a leading voice in the supplier diversity industry. Her 12 year tenure at Dell also includes a variety of leadership roles in marketing, finance, procurement, and operations.

Born in China, Ying witnessed the Cultural Revolution first hand and then saw the remarkable transition from a Maoist to a market economy. In 1990s, Ying packed her life into one suitcase and immigrated to the United States to pursue the American Dream.

Ying holds a variety of leadership roles in the community. She serves as the first woman chair of an advisory board of the International Trade Center, a joint agency of United Nation and WTO based in Switzerland, is currently a board member of the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council, and a founding board member of the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, spearheading the Texas – China Investment Summit Initiative that attracts and supports Chinese investors and drives job creation.
